Jayashree Hariharan (Advocate)     11 March 2015

I observe that both of you are of equal standing, moreover no kids out of wedlock, so I think you can relax. The Hon'ble judge will not be keen to give her alimony.

Please prove your points to the judge.

If the husband can prove in court that she is well educated and is able to work and earn for herself , then court will most likely decide for no alimony.

in this case both are equally educated and earning equal salary and have no kids , nor does the husband have any property.. so its likely that husband can avoid the alimony.

Even if the court directs to give a little amount as alimony(considering the fact that she is already earning) it will continue only until she gets remarried , after that he can discontinue.
