Denial to re-cross examine

I was impleaded as an accused under sec.489A..... Well, i had crossed examined the complainant before chare..... but when i wanted to re-cross examine the complainant again for new development had taken place.... but the court denied me the permission to re-cross examine the complainant inspite of a petition under sec.138 of Evidence Act..... What should I do know???

The answer of your question depends on the circumstance of the case as well as the stage of the case and moreover on the point on which you want to re-cross examine the witness.
