Package lost by courier service

Courier company has lost my package and says will not refund 100% of package value.

Can a courier company get away or turn back from paying the loss.

It was garments package which was bought for sale

My opportunity cost is lost and lots of mental pressure since 7kg package lost.

Please advise

Courier company is liable to compensate for goods as well as mental agony of consumer (of servie).

Yes, Courier company who provided you deficient services os liable to compensate you.File complaint before consumer Commission.

You can drag the courier service company to the consumer commission for compensation towards mental agony and 100 percent cost of the article booked through them.

Yes.  You can file a case against the courier company in the Consumer's Forum.
