Request someonee to pls guide me if direct adoption through non related biological parents is possible under JJ act..
Christian child less couple are looking to adopt a child from a single Christian mother
One of the available solution:
if the childless couple and single mother are relatives then u/s 56(2) of JJ Act they can adopt
"Adoption of a child from a relative by another relative, irrespective of their religion, can
be made as per the provisions of this Act and the adoption regulations framed by the Authority."
