we have been staying in this rented house for more than 60years paying rent on regular intervals, now because of some dispute the owner wants us to vacate the house, we offered him to market price to sell the same to us but he is not ready for that, Kindly let us know whether there is any law for our protection, and any possiblity to own the same house.

You shall be govern in your respective State Premises Tenancy Act or Rent Control Act,try to hold the possesion if there is any problem or pressure then you can file suit for Declaration and Injunction in Civil Court.Eviction of Tenant is a lengthy process of laws.
