Disputed land

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a land in 2005.But when I applied for "mutation" of the land in 2011, I came to know that the seller with the exercise of Power of Attorney had sold the land to me which his father had already sold to someone else. His father is dead now.I had purchased the land on good faith & hence not approached for enquiry. The other buyer has broken our boundary over the land which has been there since 6yrs during which the other buyer never came up. How do I get my land back?

Thanks

Shyam you ought to have enquired about the title of the land..Your acts Bona fide shows negligence, the previous owner has better title over the property...

Kindly find a decent local lawyer aquainted with knowledge in property law VIA REFERENCE.....

Dear Sir,

I accept the mistake of not conducting the enquiry based on good faith. But he has cheated me so can I fight/take legal action against the seller/Power of Attorney. Will I get some compensation? Am I entitled to any compensation?
