1. a firm can be dissolved by all partners,
2. a single partner can only leave the firm,
3. starting of new business in the same name depends upon the contents of the partnership deed
kavksatyanarayana (subregistrar/supdt.(retired)) 06 April 2020
A firm by a partner out of 3 partners cannot be dissolved even it is unregistered. A single partner wishes to retire from the partnership business, he may retire from it. Starting a new firm business with the same name is objectionable. If he wishes to start a proprietary business he may do with the same name but not partnership business.
