The terms and conditions of the partnership deed need to be referred.  However, without dissolution of firm, the partners cannot distribute properties among them.  If any one of the partner wishes to retire from the partnership business, the he shall relinquish his/her rights over the property which in the name of Firm. At the time of dissolution the property may be distributed between the partners by paying stmp duty. the stamp duty varies from One State to other State. It may be 2% to 5%. even in case of any partner wishes to retire he shall relinquish his rights by paying stamp duty.
