Division of gold ornaments of mother

My mother in law died last year leaving some gold ornaments without will. She has 4 daughters and son and her husband(Total 6 members). Now my father in law and his son and daughter in law say that they dont give any gold to her daughters since they took care of her in her last days.

How can we proceed to get back our legitimate share of the Gold?

Your wife can file a suit for partition in the civil cout to claim her 1/6th share. However, she will be required to prove that indeed there are such gold ornaments left behind by her mother.

Your wife has legally got the right in all property of her mother including Gold.
