Divorce

It's being 8 months I'm married, me and my husband have decided to file for mutual divorce after one year because of some irreconcilable issues, But I have a doubt since I'm financially better than him and earns more than can he file for compensation from me, actually he had already taken the cash which my father gave to me as a gift for marriage and is not ready to give it back.

An mou would be worked out by you both regarding maintenance, child custody, sreedhan recovery etc and that would be presented along with the application for mcd

In case the terms and conditions of the mutual are already agreed upon and duly executed, it precludes your husband from claiming any maintenance from you in the future . As it is a husband can claim maintenance only when there happen to be proceedings Under the HMA . Augustine Chatterjee 9999931153

In case if he is not ready to sign such a MOU and ask for compensation again.
