Divorce

Dear Sir,

i have filed a divorce case against my wife. but she has been threatening that she would file a f.i.r against me. my lawyer tells that court cant interfere in police station matters. Already notice has been sent and one hearing has finished. still they are threatening.
how far it is true. pls guide me

Its common nowdays to file a F.I.R it depends on what she files in her F.I.R  . She can file a false Domestic Violence case or a false 498 A under various allegations. But when this moves to court she would have to prove her allegations .In D.V case there is no arrest but in 498 A you can be arrested hence you can seek Anticipatory bail .
