Dear,
I am currently living in UAE and going to file a divorce soon.
My wife is living in India, Kerala.
We both are muslims and have been married for the last 10 years.
Questions are:
1. Is it possible to file a divorce without my physical appearance in India to file the divorce?
2. If possible, how to do it?
3. When will my physical appearance will be needed?

The best course that favours you is to intiate the proceeding in UAE. The rest is for your counter part to refute it and file a separate proceeding against you in Kerala. As a legal battle, it will be not in your interest to make things too easy for your opposite side, ofcourse apart from the fact that morally you are harassing a lady. The law on this is ever-meandering, so you could take advantage of it.
