Do ad-hoc employees pay full income tax in a an assessible

Do ad-hoc employees pay full income tax in an assessible year?

Do ad-hoc employees get an employee code number like all other regular employees?

Are ad-hoc employees entitled to do all the designated work that regular employees do including some administrative work when the administyration request to do on good-will basis?

Ans: Yes, according to Income Tax Act, 1961, there is no distinction between permanent, temporary, contract or ad-hoc employees, if income is earned out of employment and there is a relation of employee and employer then it is mandatory for the employer to deduct tax at source on the taxable income.

Ans: It is unclear about what code your enquiring about.

Ans: It depends on the contract terms and more so on the understanding between you and the administration in your case.

Ad hoc, casual, temporary, probationary, trainee, permanent, on contract have no meaning for purposes of paying income tax. Simply put, if their income is liable to tax, they pay.
