Hi,
My employer is asking to return notice buyout money as I had to leave the company in 4 months. There was no clause in employment agreement which says that I have to return this money when I leave. Is it legally correct on behalf of employer to demand this money when there was no such agreement ?

If there is no agreed upon term ( as per your query) then you may have NO liability.
