Following are the do and don'ts

 

  1. Cover them under payment of minimum wages Act
  2. Make ensure that the contractor through which you have hired contract labour has registration certificate from state labour department
  3. Make ensure that their PF and ESIc are deducted properly and you must ask it from the contractr before releasing payment and if it has not been deducted, as a principle employer, you deduct it and pay rest amount to the contractor
  4. Make ensure that they are getting all benefit under Shops and Establishments Act
