Document missing after court proceedings

Dear All,

During a land dispute case in 1994, we had filed few documents in junior civil judge court along with farmers pass book(Issued by local MRO). We lost the case and we appealed the same case in sub-court in the year 2003 due to our mistake in filing the case, we lost the case again. After the case, we request the duplicates from court during the duplicate issue, we got 2 tax receipts one as tax receipt and the other as farmers book but we have not got the actual pass book.

Is there a way to get the actual pass book? If the book is lost during the proceedings, how can we get another copy of the same?

The book has the data relating to the land and when we requested another book from the local MRO we got the book with out that land details. so the old copy is very important for us to prove that the land belongs to us.

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

You have to file an application before the concerned Court for the return of document. If it is  responded as the documents were misplaced or lost, then you can ask the Court to re-construct the said documents by producing the copies of the same.
