Does my father's sister has right to ask for her share ?

Hello All, I want to get some serious advice. Issue is that my father has a property on his name from past 20 years. My grandfather died long time back. My father's sister is asking for her share into property. even my grandma is not allowing her for share. Does she has right to ask for her share legally? She is going to file a case against us. Let me tell what is power of attorney in this issue??

No it was trasfered from grandfather's name to my father after my grandpa's death from past 30 years back. My Granma is also not willing to give any share to my aunt(Bua)..

they can ask their share...if ur father proves that its his selfearned property, then they cant.....If its silent how was the property purchased then it will be assumed ur grandpa's earning & here everybody can ask their shares.

yogesh,

Divya is right. From the facts of your query it is very clear that your father's sisters have equal share in the property .
