Domestic Violence under section: 12, 18, 19, 20 & 22.

Hi,

Wife as filed false DVC in above sections.

As I have already filed divorce under desertion 10 months ago.

Now she as filed DVC.

And below are the alligations.

1. Dowry - which we have never took.
2. Protection.
3. Residents.
4. Compensation of Rs. 20lakhs and 30lkhs.
5. Maintenance of Rs. 40k.

And she has applied this in her native.

She as filed DVC on me and all family members.

As it is a false and she is not a good women and all her intentions is to extrort money from us, for this I am not willing to negotiate anything and I am willing to fight.

Let me know how to proceed to win this.

Note.

She is a double degree graduate and has worked in past and also worked in the desertion period too.

And I am not able to pay anything as I am an unemployed since all 6months.

Kindly guide how to prepare my self to this case.

Engage a lawyer and submit the written statement in that DVC. Separate written statements should be filed by you and all other family members of you involved in the petition. You family members should move an application to delete their names from the petition as they have no domestic relationship with your wife.

You should put all relevant facts in the written statement and highlight all loopholes of your wife. Follow the guidelines of your lawyer.

Hello sir ! need some advice regarding domestic violence. My father is a domestic abuser and he drink a lot. he doesn't abuse physical now but he get violence and threaten us about suicide and break things. my mother is scared that as both of them live in the same house. what if my father attacks my mother someday. and what if he harms himself and blames it to my mother. please help me with it.
