Dowry Prevention Act 1961

As per this act, dowry to be asked to bride's parents or relatives. As we all know the girl is pressurised to ask her parents for dowry. But if bride goes to court and claims that she has been asked to bring dowr
y. Then where does it stands, as law says grooms party has demanded to brides parent/relatives. Though it is obvious that bride is pressurised to do so, but how to justify.

Thank you Sir for the valuable in put. A common man's understanding is demanding dowry to blood relation or bride is same but opposite party understanding is not on same line. Kindly suggest any citation reference to this.
