As per dowry prohibition act section 3 giving and taking dowry is crime and as per section 7(3) person aggrieved(complaintent) is protected from prosecuting.
if someone filed case of giving dowry to anyone.it means complaintent(who take dowry) is also protected as per 7(3).Because one who complaint cant be booked under this section as per law.
