Dual Employment

I worked in a compnay in Tamilnadu as Manager. Also had a agremnt with them that I will not have simulatenous employment. But I did engage myself in another jon which the current emplyer fuondout. I am now out of job frm the current employer as they asked me to resign. What would the consequences be? & what will be the nature of consequences?

Nothing, find another job if you have calibre and competance.

But I read on some web sites that under section 60 of labour laws, this is punishable...If so, what would the punishment be? There is nothing to hide that I involved myself in a second job. I also presented a copy of the agreeement I had with the second employer from the USA, prior to current employer asked me to resign.
