Till now in India there is no method or law to measure the duration of Court proceedings, except that speedy trial is now a part of fundamental rights under Article 21 of the constitution of India read with some other International conventions.

allow the case to follow its regular course of time, not only you, even the defacto complainant will be tensed once the case is being dragged on endlessly, you can engage a lawyer and ask him to represent you in your absence on some dates of hearing.
