Dv case & summons served to neighbour

Dear All,

In my DV act my friend had been included. My parents, sistersand me accepted the summons and appered in court.

For my friend Petioner(my wife) directly went to his house and served his neighbourhood the notice/summons.

My friend is studying in another state.

What should be done? Can petioner directly serve the  DV summon/notice?

Yes. There is no prevention that the Petitioner can not serve summons, notice etc.

Your friend is not covered by the act...BTW tell us is your friend a girl or a boy?

Why DV was filed against her?;)

Dear Utpala,

In 498a she had admitted my Boyfriend name i.e in FIR that he had beaten him.In chrgesheet his name had been exclucded by police.

What should be done as notice is seved duly signed with his neghbour?

He,is studying now....Is their any effect on his study?

1. DV does not cover friend 2. No relief may have been sought against this fello in her complaint. So he shud forget the summons, no DV orders will harm him
