I need advise on the following situation with regards to a plot bought by me from a developer in the state of Maharashtra. The project is a large number of bungalow plots under one project name in a Panchayat area where the builder/developer has not provided water or electricity. The project has a few families living there now including me who do not have electricity and water. The electricity board states that since this is a bungalow plot project, it shall not provide infrastructure for electricity. It will provide the main electric connection once the developer provides infrastructure (distribution transformer, etc). The developer has not provided the same and does not seem willing to do so, either. Could someone please advise as to who is responsible under law to provide at least electricity on our plots, and the right path to take for us for the same. In summary, how can we get water and electricity to our houses?
