Eligibility for obc non creamy layer

My father is a govt. middle school headmaster (class 2) with income 8.9 lpa and mother is a govt.elementary school teacher (class 3) with income 6.7lpa. Will I be able to get non creamy layer obc. I read somewhere that salary income will not be taken into account. Please help me with how to proceed. I have to apply for pg neet exam as soon as possible
