I need to know what are the benefits available to a temporary employee working in a company for more than a year? Does one month notice suffices or is there any other benefits like medical/PF/Gratuity, etc? Please update. Thanks

If the temprory employee is earning less than 15000 he is covered under ESIC an can avail all the benefits including medi -claim and sickness claim under ESIC.

He is also entitled to PF contribution of 12% employee share and 13.64% employers share.

he shall not be entitled to gratuity as gratuity is payable after the completion of 5 years of service.

Hello Amrita, thanks for your inputs. They are very helpful. Could you also please tell me which Acts should i consider for this-IDA or any other Act is also applicable?
