Please confirm whether as per gratuity act for eligibility or calculation, it is from date of joining or date of confirmation. Next if any one is doing from date of Confirmation what is the legal stand of the same valid or unvalid.
Please the legal expert give the clarity.

All the statutory provisions will be applicable w.e.f. the date of joining, just like P.F, ESI etc.
