Enclosures to plaint mandatory

I, as a defendant in a suite,  received copy of Plaint from High court directly and also from the Plaintiff's Counsel.  Several documents are referred to in the Plaint but no copies were enclosed to the Plaints.  Is it mandatory to enclose the copies of documents to the Plaint when it is supplied to the Defendant?  If not, how do I get copies

of the enclosures.  I can meaningfully understand the Plaint only if I go through the copies of documents referred

to in the Plaint.
