I am from Odisha and want your opinions on the below matter.
in my village few people have encroached the government land beside to their own land. Now they've built their house on their own land but maximized the construction encroaching the government land.
Due to this road has been narrowed and no four wheelers can pass through. During the emergency ambulance or fire services can't reach the venue.
It is bothering me and want a solution. If I complaint to Tahsildar or collector is it possible they will give order to demolish the buildings? what our law of land says on this issue, specifically for village areas? Can government authority take hard stand in eviction?
