In front of my house, a house owner has made an encroachment of 5feet of public street and built the part of his house on the street and living there for the last 20 years. Thus, street became a narrow widdth of 12 feet. What should I do to remove this encroachment and what is the procedure. This street falls under the municipal counsil.

You can give complaint to the Municipal authorities by giving full information.

You can give complaint to Muncipal Corporation . you can also file a Public Interest Litigation iN High Court to remove encroachment.
