If you confident enough that they have pledged the gold with the bank and now claim it to be with you, you can obtain information through RTI first and then challenge their case.

bank can deny information held in fiducuary capacity. so RTI will be of no use.
let bank be summoned before court with such details as necessary.

Rightly opined by Mr.Sudhir.Banks public or private sectors can deny information held in fiducuary accout.Refer https://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/righttoinfoact.aspx what comes under the gambit of RTI.
NFORMATION AVAILABLE UNDER THE ACT
As far as the Banks are concerned the relevant provision that have already come into force are Sections 4(1), 5(1) & 5(2). The right to information includes an access to the information which is held by or under the control of the Bank which comes under Public Authority and includes the right to inspect the work, document, records, taking notes, extracts or certified copies of documents / records and certified samples of the materials and obtaining information which is also stored in electronic form.
THE INFORMATION EXEMPTED FROM DISCLOSURE
The Act provides under Sections 8 and 9, certain categories of information that are exempt from disclosure to the citizens which includes fiducuary account.
