Ex parte set aside by poa

Dear Sirs,

I have a divorce ex parte decree granted by Chennai family court on the 20th May 2016. My wife through her power agent (father) has filed a petition in the same family court to set aside the ex parte decree on the 25th August 2016. However, the set aside petition, condone delay petition, return of articles and counter to the main petition have all been submitted with the POA signature on it and not by wife.

Can you please advice if this is maintenable under family courts where the POA role is very limited as per my knowledge.
