Exception on lispendent

I purchased a land in the year of 1999 with out knowing a case pending, however, the suit was dismissed due to absence of the plaintiff even though plaintiff's legal counsel was present in the court in Nov 1998. I sent a caveat petition in the year 2001 Nov. Upon review petition the suit was restored in the year 2008 then I was impleaded in the suit. Under this circumstances 'lis pendent' applicable or no? In the plaint survey No.wrong, area more, boundaries not as per sale deed. Approved layout was declared as wet land and paid very low court fee. Suggest the legal validity of my purchase.

"lis pendens" - means a pending law suit. What was the case about...? If you think you have proper title, then go for a suit for declaration against the original defendents of the earlier suit. you will not loose the rights on the property just because the seller had mentioned wrong details in the earlier suit. Kindly engage a good legal counsel to defend you .
