Expert opinion needed for DV Act.,

I am seeking information for Husband's side, that is In case when respondent(husband) is not available

or house found locked by summon giver( Summons issued by Protection Officer, ). Then, what are the consequences, in that case.

How can a husband prove his innocence or give reason for not available at Home.

Expert opinion needed.

Summons in the first stage in a case as far as service of notice is concerned. The court while ordering summons will also direct the petitioner to issue private summons in other cases except family cases. I hope that the court will order private summons to you since you have been unserved and so you need not panic. Only after sufficient attempts to serve the respondent, the court will pass an exparte order....
