extension of the property is done, can there be chances of demolition?

I have a flat and shop on the edge, so I extended the property also the same is done by all the members of the society. our is housing board society. we pay taxes for the extended area of the property. Are there any chances of our property getting demolished? also will it be ours only or the whole society extended property will be demolished? there is one member of the society who keeps targeting for this but he has also extended his house well. so is the law aplicale to corner property only or even the one which are inside the society??
