Hello,
My friend is a CA. In the CA institute in her place they have published a members phone directory which gets published every 5 years. In that directory they have written that my friend has a child of 3 years with name and D.O.B whereas in actual she is married recently(1 year) and doesnt has any child.
On contacting the CA institute they say its a misprint and they cannot do anything till the new reprint which is after 5 years.
It is not acceptable by my friend and her husband misleading to have a child when they actually dont.The application provided by her to the institute which contains her personal details doesn't mention any child.
Can she file a case on the institute?? if yes which case and on what grounds??
Please help.
