Family dispute

Dear Sirs,

Our father passed away intestate. All the legal heirs have executed a release deed in favour one of the heirs.  He has sold some of the lands for a good price.  Now one of the legal heirs demands extra money as a share out of the sale proceeds.  We want to settle amicably after getting a suitable letter from him so that at a later date he does not make any further claim.  Can somebody suggest a suitable document to be obtained from him?

If he has given release deed, then he cannot claim any share. Only the person to whom the release deed is given has the rights.

The very purpose of release deed is to communicate that the person is no more interest, right, or title over the property, and has no involvement in it from the date of the release deed.

I am of the opinion that the property left intestate by the deceased testator has necessarily to be shared 'equally' among all legal heirs without exception under the "Succession Act"!

Sincerely,
