Father beating daughter and mother has locked her up

hi there

My friend (victim) told her parents about our relationship and intention to marry . Parents (who are muslims and I am a convert(no legal documents) ) they blackmailed her to come home to visit them and since then they have locked her inside the house with no access to mail or cell phone . She got a chance to whatsapp me about her condition . She told that her father had beaten her up (using hands and slippers) and has told her that there are only two options .Either poison or get married as per parents wish .

Is there something I can do ? If going through legal option , the girl needs to be taken out of house immediately otherwise she might be killed .

I am thinking to somehow contact her and ask her to run away (with my assistance) . What actions can girls father take after this ?

if she is a major and if she would accept if questioned that she came with you out of her free consent only then you wont be punished

she is a major , but on what charges her father can file the case ??

You have to take the help of local Police and file a case in High Court for writ of Habeus Corpus, as she is in illegal custody to her father. The father will be forced to bring her to the court where she can say that her father had detained her against her wishes.
