Father property

in 1997 , my grandfather sold our ancestor land in delhi, by that money he purchased 22 acre land on his name in rewari haryana , after 8 years he transferred the land on the name of his son(my father ) and my uncle . Now the question is -my father is selling that proprty but he is not giving any share of mine in that. Even i m is the son of his dead wife (1st wife) and my father is living with 2nd married wife.

What should i do.

Please suggest as he has registry on Friday.

Thanks

Yogesh

Consult a local lawyer with all the documents and file a suit for patition and seek temperory injunction restraining your father from alienating the property till the disposal of the suit.

File a suit for partition as well as interim stay. An ex parte ad interim stay is likely to be granted on the first hearing itself. Remember any property brought from the proceeds of sale of ancestral land - becomes ancestral in character, and your father had only that much right in property as you had. He cannot deprive you of the same by any understanding with his brother. File the suit ASAP to protect your rightful due.

Good Luck !
