Respected Sir,
I have filed a divorce against my wife last month. One of my close friend who has been my mental support forced me to join my wife not knowing her real character.
1. She herself
fixed a meeting with my wife even after my warning, happily returned saying that she had good understanding with my wife.
2. Now my wife torturing me saying to cut my friend ship with her through all possible ways.
My friend has been a good support to me and my family members in tough times, She is a teacher, My wife is so possessive and I am sure that she is going to take this point in court pointing her name there. Any guidance please how to face this without damaging us.

1. Biggest mistake.
2. First there should be very high levels of understanding between husband and wife. For strange reasons, marriage works only this way. Either of the spouse does not like 3rd party interference come what may especially from someone who is of opposite s-e-x, it wil be looked at as a direct intrusion between a married couple.
Either forget that good friend, as once a friend, always a friend and such friend will understand you, as to why you are no more keeping in touch with her. Or be ready to face problems that your wife will create for you. She taking her name and cooking up a new story has become a much more easier thing now due to the interference of your friend.
In future even if your friend continues to keep in touch with you, ask her not to, as she will certainly in the coming days be named as 'MARRIAGE BREAKER'.
My suggestion would be forget that friend and continue with your married life. Try to make friends with your wife than looking for a emotional support system outside of marriage.
My personal opinion would be, if one does not get moral support or emotional support from the spouse, its better to call it quits from that marriage [relationship], as people get married not only for satisfying s-e-xual needs but for love, emotional and moral support too.
