Sir my mother was victim of acid attack injured her eyes and now is recovering her eyesight ...we filled a complaint as some unknown person ...police arrested our cousin for commiting the crime ..he is now sent to remand..if my mother takes the complaint back saying dont want any case is there any chance to bring our cousin out ...his bail has been rejected...pls guide us

Dear Anjana dev,

Firstly as the FIR is regd under section 307 n 326 and as the offence is not compoundable you need to file a petition before the High Court for compounding it .

The High Court will examine your mother and afyer she states that she will with draw it the court will consider and allow it.

If your cousin is still in judicial custody ask their lawyer to file a second bail application and at the time of argguments lrt your mother so state before the trial court so that the court considering the same may grant bail.
