Filing a case - phone threat=

sir,
we have been getting some phone threats on some partition suit case from some relatives. this is in the sate of tamilnadu..i want to approach police with some strong evidence.
we are getting calls in both bsnl and mobile phones..is it possible to retrieve the call records and phone voice records for our numbers from these companies without a police report so that these could be used as  evidence while filing the report that makes the report stronger
or ..how to approach in these kind of issues.
we not want the calls to stop.but the other party needs to understand that this is taken very seriously and should anticipate some repurcussions..

1. As a first step file a written complaint at the nearest police station alleging criminal intimidation and offence under the Information & Technology Act.  You just have to give their telephone number and name.  The police will assist you to get the call data. You cannot on your own seek such data.

2. Next time you do get such calls then record the conversation.
