A person cheats me and later on cought red handed and thereafter issues a cheque to replanish the value of the asset. The cheque got dishonoured. What is the best procedure to recover the money - to go to police with a Cheating Case or to lodge a Cheque Bounce case? Is there any place where the cost of court case can be kept minimum at Kolkata? If in one case I am defeated, then can I try the other case? Can the lawyears definitely say the results of the case if the documents are shown to them? Is it required to hand over all the original documents to the lawyear or I have to produce it in the court? Please help.
