Filing divorce

Hi. I am a christian and I want to file a divorce but my husband doesn't seem interested.  He said he will not reply or respond to the court.  I want to know the steps / procedures on how to file a divorce and if my husband will not respond, will it affect the process?

@ Author,

1.
Suggested to contact local advocate found via reference and after due diligence hire his services to file petition for divorce under parties Personal Laws.

2.
If he does not attend court proceedings then the court will proceed ex part and may grant you prayed relief after following due process in Law.

File a divorce case through advocate and after that court will issue Summons to your husband. Court will proceed exporter if your husband doesn't appear in the court. Adv Reeti Shah reeti@corpusjurislaw.com 993028557

1. why you want to go for this we do not know but without the required facts it cannot be adviced

2. it is not fair but as it seems that you already decided the step means without proper advice you may land in different stress

3. so first meet a lawyer if you does not want to disclose the facts

4. by meeting personally and discussing with a lawyer you can share your query and also you get correct advice and any time we are here to give you advice legally

5. you can file divorce through a lawyer or self by party in person with a petition well drafted legally and ensure that all the steps come in order and as suggested if your husband does not appear even after court notice to attend, court will see to some hearings and finally you will be granted ex-parte divorce decree and after that 90 days time limit will be there for your husband to appeal against the said decree and if does not object or appeal against that order then you can happily marry another person
