I had requested for some information from PIO RTO dept , but the PIO didnt replied to me even after 30 days of my application. Now after 30 days I made first appeal to appellate authority , the appellate authority has summonned PIO RTO dept through a letter .But a copy of the same letter has been given to me and I am asked to be present before the appellate authority on the designated day. Is it mandatory to be present while appellate authority proceeds on the matter , or I need not go there and should wait for final decision of appellate authority ,which shall be communicated to me on a later date.
