First court date after chargesheet is filed

Hi Legal Experts,

wife file 498a and package accusing me, my parents and my younger brother. All of us have regular bail. Count conustable has finformed me (during 125 maintenance court date) that all accused have to attend court on 2nd July, but there isn't any official information to attend the court and only one week is there in between.

Please suggest if all should attend the court on July 2nd or is it enough if myself (A1) attend the court? What will happen on that date?

Nothing much, judge would ask if you accept the charges ..you say not guilty and trial proceeds..

Its better if all can be present on the date. I wonder about the summons, you should get summons from court to appear before the court on particular date.

We didn't receive any summons regarding 498a. I will attend the court for sure.

Can my lawyer file an application for non-appearance of my family? would it go against us?

FYI.. In fact, I have received summons regarding maintenance case u/s 125 on my Employers address and have been attending court regularly.

ofcourse its court order so you have to do as said. i suggest consult a lawyer immediately.
