My name is kiran.My Grand father paid installments to buy 2 plots in a scheme introduced by a Real estate firm 25 years ago.The Scheme was to pay the installment amount of Rs.300/- for a period of 60 months.Plot was alloted to my grand father but plot registration not happened.He paid full installments for one plot and other was partially paid.
Recently my grand father got expired.Now our family members found the plot allotment paper & receipts which was issued by real estate firm 20 years ago.We asked the person who maintained the real estate firm to make plot registration on my father's name by showing plot allotment papers.The owner of real estate firm told that the firm was closed 20 years ago.Now there were no plots.He also told after 20 years this plot allotment paper has no right to ask any plot.
so,please clarify Is there any chance to claim for our property.
