Dear experts.
Will be grateful if you could assist. I m in the process of buying a resale flat in Noida. Builder had given the possession 7-8 years back,but the property is not yet registered.Also the property is mortgaged to ICICI bank(duly checked & verified).
Owner is a NRI based out of US, he had earlier given rights to his brother for maintaining, take possession ®istering it. But his brother didn't registered it then. But now for selling the property NRI is sending a specific POA to his brother.
Now to safeguard my interests, would you advice me to go ahead & if yes what should be the process neededto be followed, as his brother has no money & would be utilizing money provided my me to clear the dues,do the registry & pay other dues etc.
Also his brother is willing to give the possesssion after giving 50% of the amount.
