Flat registration not problem due to some land issues

I have purchased a flat and it is given possession and all the member are living currently in the same flat, it is a gated community with around 500 flats. But due to some land issues, the property is not getting registered and the builder is saying it will take time, it is almost 2 years but still, no registration is done.

What are my further actions and if the land is really a disputed land what rights we will be having? Please suggest and guide.

You may ask for registration of sale deed. Your right shall be determined in the light of dispute involved. What is the dispute in relation to land? Consult a lawyer with details.

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.

It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able local senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil matters before signing or making payment.

This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

Apparently you have erred and have not consulted before hand.

Your hard earned money is involved.

Get all docs, mutation records with link docs, aprovals etc etc and determine where do you stand.

The builder may raise his hands.

Or he/she may succeed to resolve.

Nothing can be said certainly at the moment.
