Fraud by book my holidays

Hi All,

I have booked a holiday voucher of Rs 5998 by online payment on 17th April 2012, but after making the payment decided to cancel the order since I found several hidden glitches.

The person who booked my order online told me that there is clause to cancel it. So I proceeded with that and cancelled it on 19th April. On May 3rd, when I wanted to know the status of the request, to my surprise and dismay I was told that the order was not cancelled and a fresh request needs to be initiated. I did the same and received a cancellation request.

After a week or so when I tried to check the status of the request I was told that it is in process and would take another 2-3 days. But when I called there customer care on again I received that same vague response.

Now, on 28th and 29th of May when I called them on 0120-6182100, I again received the same illogical response that it would take another 2-3 days.

Then I called the BagItToday which  on 0120-4112424 and discussed them my whole story, but to my shock they told me that they have not received any such cancellation request. I was very disappointed to listen to this.

Now whenever I try to call the Book my holidays on 0120-6182100 they simply hang up the phone does not even talk properly.

It has been more than 40 days but not received my money. I wonder what process they are following which is taking 40 days to reverse the amount.

The details of the order are:

Booking Order ID : 1017334201

Customer care : 0120-6182100

Coupon Date : 17th APR

1st cancellation request date: 19th APR

2nd cancellation request date: 3rd MAY

2nd cancellation request Id: 789652

Please help since I don't want to loose my hard earned money. What are the different possibilities before me right now?

Thanks

Abhishek Srivastava

thanks for exposing such cheats.

i was thinking of using their services a few days back, but have changed my idea after reading your thread.

Shame on such people!

they think they will cheat a client and the client is a fool who will never inform others about their fraud.

that is how such people lose their clients, reputation and incur losses in business

Record all the calls and post the minutes/telescriptt in writing at the email id of the comapny. Apply your resources and obtain address of MD and issue notice.

The customer mr. Rajput found the address of the comapny as fake.

"We regret to inform you that we are unable to locate your order in the system."

To another customer

Jatin Devani

"as per our records we DID not receive the payment against the same."

Then there is another aggrieved customer mr. Shah, and many more.
It is interesting to note that to all the customers company is issuing a parrot like statement.
A haplees employee in the company is trying to earn the salary from the company by issuing apologies in a set format provided to him/her.
You shall wonder how many times in a day he/she shall be apologising in the same format provied by the comapny.
Stay away from such companies.
Isse a notice ( which you can also send) to supply refund by bank DD thru redg. post only say in next 7 days, or issue a legal notice and/or lodge a complaint with police, and DCDRF.
If all the customers unite you can contemplate on filing a class suite which shall be effective and economical too.
You can post your views/complaints  at other on line portals e.g.

Issue a legal notice and in default of compliance - file a consumer court cas.e
